Universiteit Gent, Belgium, September 18-20, 2014 In interdisciplinary research of CA and Psychotherapy, CA aims “to fill the gaps in psychotherapy theory. However, CA itself may benefit from psychotherapy in different respects by analyzing: (1) therapists’ particular interactive practices, (2) therapists’ explanations of these practices, and (3) therapists’ diagnostic and therapeutic labels of the clients interactive behavior (e.g. control, submission etc.).
